Each year, the literacy staff trains volunteers who will teach others how to read and write in Moba, and even learn French.
In January of 2020, they opened 11 first-year classes and 2 second-year classes.
After 2 months, those in the first-year finished their textbooks and the leader of each class continued with other books. About 2 weeks later, all classes had to close because of Covid-19 pandemic.
11 classes were in villages and one in Dapaong. There were 142 students of which 96 passed and received their certificates.
